Climate Change:
Global Warming & Weather patterns Disruption

Climate change is often defined as a change in global or regional climate patterns. A change that has been in particular apparent from the mid to late 20th century and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels.

According to US-EPA, climate change is not a fake assumption; the evidence of climate change is real. rising global temperatures have been accompanied by changes in weather and climate. The planet's oceans and glaciers have experienced some big changes - oceans are warming and becoming more acidic, ice caps are melting, and sea levels are rising. Many places have seen changes in rainfall, resulting in more floods, droughts, or intense rain, as well as more frequent and severe heat waves.

Global warming is one of the biggest central threat and challenge of the 21st century. Global warming is one measure of climate change; and it means a rise in the average global temperature. Its effects are devastating. The global warming that has been observed in recent decades is caused by elevated levels of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere as a result of human activities.

From most earth scientists perspective and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the current warming trend is of particular significance because most of it is very likely human-induced and proceeding at a rate that is unprecedented in the past 1,300 year. Ninety-seven percent of climate scientists agree that climate-warming trends over the past century are very likely due to human activities, and most of the leading scientific organizations worldwide have issued public statements endorsing this position.

Climate Change poses significant risks to a broad range of human and natural systems. In recent years, hopefully, environmental regulations are getting more and more stringent and large polluting industries must abide by strict environmental performance targets. Adopting green technologies, embracing sustainable practices and educating communities is the way forward to reducing the planet carbon footprint and reverse the trend of global warming and climate change.
