Occupational health and safety
Occupational health and safety is paramount at anytime for every workplace. Workplace safety regulations lead to good OHS practices that reduce employee injury and illness related costs, including medical care and sick leave; which in turn is a good management prospect for businesses. Compliance to Health & Safety regulations must be an integral part of any organization from the upper management to employees or contractors. Through the use of engineering and administrative controls, wearing the appropriate PPE or getting the proper training, safety is everybody's responsibility and every one must fulfill his/ her role in accordance with all legislated obligations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act to make workplaces safer not only for the workers but also for the general public and properties.
